Sam and Candy arrived at the San Antonio Humane Society
together in September after their previous owner could no longer care for
them. As two senior pets, it was evident
they were best friends and had a special bond we could not break. We knew they
needed to find a home together.
Luckily, a warm and loving couple learned about their
special relationship and decided to adopt both of them on Oct. 12. Sam and
Candy found their perfect match!
Their first meeting was perfect. Sam and Candy knew they
were going home. As soon as they met their new parents, they instantly smiled
and felt comfortable.
The couple shared they already had a bonded pair at home
(also rescues!) and knew how important it was to keep them together.
“We know how it is,” they said. “We can’t wait to take them
home to their new brothers and sisters!”
Sam and Candy jumped into their new car and drove away to
their FURever home! They will never have to worry about being separated <3
They’ll continue to play and love each other for the rest of their lives!
