If you’ve ever seen the movie Bambi, you know that springtime is when animals become twitterpated!
Soon babies are born and a new generation is added to the animal kingdom.
.
Cats are no exception to this rule! June is the height of kitten season, a time that boasts an exceptionally large increase in kitten births. Sadly, this means that there are tons of kittens that wind up as strays without a home. And do you know what we specialize in? Finding homes for these needy felines! But, as a no-kill organization, we only have so much space. Oh, if only there were something you could do to help reduce the number of kittens at your local shelter...
Luckily for you, June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month!
No matter your type, the San Antonio Humane Society has a feline to fit your personality:
2-month-old brown tabby |
Are you looking to play? Tac is ready to be your new buddy.
3-month-old tuxedo brothers |
Raymond and Robert are two peas in a pod who would love to meet you.
While there are plenty of kittens coming into our facility, we also have many adult cats looking to meet their new owners!
2 years old, shy, but lovable |
Starfire is a lovely lady that adores cat naps and a spot by the window.
1-year-old ginger gentleman |
RumTum-Tugger loves to relax and take it easy after a long day of snoozing.
4-year-old fluffer |
Juno is a sassy lady with a lot of personality! She definitely lives up to her regal name.
Ready to meet these friendly faces? They’re certainly ready to meet you!
