Pretzel is a happy and adventurous boy looking for a new
home!
This handsome 2-year-old Terrier, Pit Bull mix was
transferred from Animal Care Services to the San Antonio Humane Society in
January. We quickly learned that this sweet boy has so much love to offer!
As one of our most active pups at the shelter, he would do
best in a home with older children and as the only dog. Once he warms up, he
becomes extremely affectionate and loves belly rubs! He would love to have a
big backyard, where he can continue to explore and learn new tricks and games.
As part of our enrichment program, Pretzel recently enjoyed
a “Dog Day Out” out of the shelter and visited a nearby park. He loved the
change in scenery, new scents and meeting new people. We highly recommend for
Pretzel to continue with enrichment games and activities to help him stay heathy
and active.
Our kennel staff has noticed great improvement on his loose
leash walking and door dashing behavior during the last couple of months. He is
such a smart boy and has already learned how to sit. During his training, we
found out that he also loves to rub on grass and prefers to eat meatier treats.
